I helped develop the concept and design of the cover and spreads for DANGER! An Encyclopedia of All Things Dangerous, a thrilling children’s book that explores the world of danger in an exciting way. After its success at the Bologna bookfair, the project progressed as a collaborative effort between the publisher, designers, editors, and illustrators, all working together to make the book the success it is today.

The cover is bold and impactful, featuring a striking red background with a die-cut skull and crossbones. To elevate the design, we applied holofoil to the title and the bones, adding a dynamic shine that makes the cover stand out. Through the die-cut, the skull’s foil-printed eyes on the endpaper are revealed, creating a tactile and interactive element. This combination of simplicity and detail captures the adventurous spirit of the book, making it a hit with its young audience.
